ORNAO is a volunteer association that represents Registered Nurses as direct care practitioners, administrators, educators, and/or researchers practicing perioperative nursing in the province of Ontario.

Membership Definition of Perioperative Nurse
A perioperative nurse is a Registered Nurse whose primary professional focus is to educate, manage and/or deliver nursing care to a human patient undergoing a surgical intervention, immediately preoperatively, intraoperatively, and immediately postoperatively.
Registration Types and Fees
Regional Membership shall be maintained in only one Regional Association.
A complete list of the different registration types and fees can be found on the ORNAC national website.
The registration year shall be from 01 January of one year to 31 December of the same year.
